SIRARD, Gilberte "Gail" (nee Dumais)Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on July 4th, 2009 at the age of 81. Loving mother of Claire (Bob) Hodge, Dan (Alice), Doris (Craig) Liddiard, Roger (Lisa). Dear sister of Ulric, Aurelion, Bertrand, Dolores Dembiski and Luc. Much loved grandmother of John, Melinda, Kevin, Darryl, Michelle, Michael and Kylan. Great-grandmother of Cole & Jack. Also survived by many relatives, nieces and nephews in the Niagara Region and Quebec. The family would like to thank Dr. H. Hannah, Dr. Dang, Dr. Sourovsteva and nursing staff at SCGH for their patience. A special thanks to her son-in-law Craig Liddiard, Betty Nicol, Hospice Niagara and CCAC for their exceptional care and dedication.The family will receive friends at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, July 8th at 11:00am. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
